Gwenda Micheals: If you need help cutting back, don't go out to eat anywhere!!! Don't spend any money that isn't nessasary!! Borrow clothes from family and friends if you need anything special. Turn off all electrical apliances at night and when you're not using them. Take short showers. I'm a single mother and I've been there and done that. But, I didn't cut back so much-- I got an extra job at a bank and worked weekends. But- even though I was making extra money- I still didn't change my lifestyle. Don't go out to eat or buy anything special just because you're m! aking a little extra!! Before you know it, you'll have a little extra money here and there and you can pay off your car. When you're back on track, quit the extra job and maybe try to get a promotion in your own job or go to a community college and get a degree for a better paying job. That's exactly what I did.!! Good luck!!!...Show more
