Barton Slisz: Because he's 30 as opposed to 23 when he played Tom Riddle the first time. He's a bit too old to play the role now. Seems like a plausible explanation.
Byron Fortmann: Apparently he was too old to play the part, it wouldn't have been realistic, but I thought he played a good Riddle, really sinister. =D
Giovanna Cramblit: He's probably MUCH older now to the point that it would just look awkward, think Daniel R. playing first year Harry at the age he is now...Also I believe the Tom Riddle in HP 6 was younger than the one we saw in Chamber of Secrets.But admittedly I wondered the same thing, so these are just speculations.Could be complications, like the actor not being available/willing....Show more

Maynard Phoubandith: I think it's because of the fact that he was slightly younger in the flashback in this movie, than he was when he was in the diary, or mayb! e Christian Coulson looked "too old", as people can change quite a lot? Or, perhaps his schedule didn't allow to be on the set of the Half Blood Prince? Could be anything.But Hero Fiennes-Tiffin was soooooooo adorable! :') I loved him as Mini-Tom. :D...Show more
