Exactly what is a scientific poll in the government?

Conrad Puleio: I think that is where the use either torture or a bribe to ensure the results.

Devon Kalberer: A "Scientific" poll is a poll whose sample is a true representation of the registered voting public (correct numbers of men/women, races, regions, social classes, occupations, etc). This as opposed to a non-scientific poll, which is like asking 100 people you approach at a shopping mall. Okay?

Ninfa Asby: It means it's a) random sample, b) has a margin of error of no more than 4%, and c) is reproducible. Non-scientific polls are 100% bullsh!t. Scientific polls are not always accurate but non-scientific polls are not valid, basically just pure lies.
