Does computer makes mistake?

Betsey Copp: It makes for some extent.

Pamela Meno: Computers are machines. They do not have the option of making a mistake. They do what they are told to do. If the instructions are wrong then the result will be wrong but it is the person programming the computer that has made the mistake.

Mel Crapo: A computer will only make a mistake if incorrect data is entered into it. As long as the correct data is entered, then the computer will always be perfect.

Randall Twehous: Usually its a "PEBKAC" problem. "Crap in = crap out"

Raelene Cunnick: Yes, if they're programmed incorrectly.

Jess Grizzel: They do even when they are programmed correctly. The computer made errors in strategy Which led to Gary Kasparov the World Chess Champion to defeat Deep Blue an IBM computer in the first match.Although you could argue there were no errors, simply being Gary Kasparov was a better chess player....Show more
