Simona Bulwinkle: Perhaps you could find a preschool program with hours that would better accomodate your schedules. Our kids are at a pre-k that is also a daycare. Their "class" time is from 8:30 to 11:30. Then the dayare portion starts when they feed them lunch, take naps (if needed,) play, etc. They take care of the kids until the parents can come to get them.I honestly think that if your daughter will be starting kindergarten soon, you should really try to keep her in pre-k. (If you can work it out with your schedules.) The demands in kindergarten are very intense these days socially, academically, and emotionally. They learn a lot about all of these areas in pre-k to get them ready for the big K (kinder!)...Show more
Houston Venezia: aren't there buses for that?
James Langmyer: Maybe you can find another neighborhood mom who also has a child in preschool and you could make an arrangement for after school care, most of the time the bus will drop a c! hild off at a babysitters house without problem. Try to keep your daughter in preschool, its a wonderful experience and they learn so much. If money is an issue maybe you can work it out with someone for doing some babysitting for them when you are available.
Edwina Fu: she rides the bus but I have to take her to the bus stop.
Todd Stogner: Preschools have buses, and before and after care programs are usually available as well... I would look into your options taking her out of school is not a good idea.
