Galen Gowers: I like the Alpine Type R a lot and I have two 10" subs in my car. They are nice, but I feel I should have gotten the 12s. I have an Alpine MRP-M1000 powering the two for a total of a 1000 watts, never cuts out or overheats. My box is ported and puts out a lot of bass, sometimes almost too much but I'd rather have too much than not enough...needs some dynamat. I also don't have any aftermarket speakers in my car too, but I keep the sub loud. I did buy my Amp and Tsunami wiring/capacitor from Ebay, which was $100 cheaper with a squaretrade warranty. I don't trust some of those online sites because there is really no guarantee....Show more
Shemeka Laker: kicker for the woofers interior speakers just make sure they are three way only high end companies really make them for a amplifier mtx or fosgate and headunit should match interior speakers
