What is mint condition?

Rosalia Hibler: That is just a fancy way of saying it is in a perfect condition and has basically been untouched and unused. Buying things in mint condition is always a good idea.

Salvador Prchlik: Used but as good as new

Dale Mccoun: It means that it isn't new- that it has been used some. But it is in brand new CONDITION. Something is only mint if it has no wear and tear, no scratches. It should look like it did when it was first bought. The term "mint" actually refers to how coins are made, as in "minted". Collectors refer to PERFECT coins as "mint" condition, meaning as new-looking as when they first came out of the mint. The term came to be used for all items of brand new condition. Mint does not mean "very good" condition. It means PERFECT condition. If there is ANY visible wear, blemishes, damage or scratches, the item is NOT in mint condition....Show more

Jestine Osumi: It means that it isn't new. It's been sold before (so they can sell it as new a! nymore) and it may or may not have been slightly used so it is "practically new".

Romeo Tinnea: It basically means it has been used, but it is in very GOOD condition,or it's in good shape. It looks almost as if it's new.
