Chanda Wittwer: There's no way officially to get iOS 7 to your IPod. Apple has dropped support for the IPod Touch 4th gen. The only way to get iOS 7 for your IPod is by jailbreaking it.

Esteban Lyson: You can jailbrake your iPod and wait for someone to port iOS 7 to the iPod-4th gen but otherwise you cant get it as Apple doesnt support it for iOS 7
