Giovanna Cramblit: I hooked up my miniDV camcorder to the TIVO using standard a/v cables and recorded the output. Then I burned the miniDV to the PC using firewire into an editor program (Windows MovieMaker) and burned a DVD from that. Also, the USB answer given earlier I don't think will work as easy as it sounds. I believe the TIVO USB connection is reserved ONLY for a WIFI connection. So if you plug in a TIVO approved WIFI adapter, you can transfer files to your PC, but only through a wifi network. I don't think you can simply connect the TIVO directly to the PC with a USB cable....Show more
Esteban Faggett: You have to have a Tivo with a USB connection. Connect it to your PC that way. You have to have DVD burning software as well. Just copy the files over and burn them to disk using the software.By the way- HOW DID YOU LIKE TAKING YOUR AZZWHUPPING BY THE BENGALS THIS WEEKEND, CHUMP? LOOKS LIKE YOU'VE SHUT UP NOW THAT THE STEALERS (Im spelling it that way ! on purpose since they stole the championship last year) ARE HEADED DOWN THE TOILET....Show more
Dorethea Beaston: Google for TiVo Hack.I don't remember the exact name for the software, but my friend uses it and it is free. It takes off the TiVo wrapper and I think you have a normal MPEG2.I am a ReplayTV guy and use DVArchive
