Whitney Saborido: Well, a little latin flavor would have to be somewhere in there so my two suggestions for beverage would be:- Cuban Coffee (of course!) and- Horchata: Ingredients=============â¢1 cup white rice, rinsed, drainedâ¢1 3-inch cinnamon stickâ¢4 cups hot waterâ¢3/4 cup granulated sugarâ¢1 can (12 fl. oz.) evaporated Milkâ¢Ice cubesâ¢Pinch of ground cinnamonâ¢Lime rind strips (optional)Directions===========COMBINE rice, cinnamon stick and water in large bowl; cool. Cover; refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. REMOVE cinnamon stick. Spoon rice into blender container (reserve soaking water). Cover; blend on High for 3 to 4 minutes until mixture is as smooth as possible. Add the reserved soaking water and sugar; blend for an additional 2 minutes. Strain mixture through a cheesecloth or fine sieve into a pitcher, pressing the rice solids until only a dry ! paste remains; discard paste. Stir evaporated milk into the mixture. TO! SERVE: Pour into tall glasses with ice cubes; sweeten with additional sugar, if desired. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Garnish with lime rind. ==== Name Suggestion ==== "K&M's Pub Locale"I think the 'K&M's' keeps the establishment personal and obviously your own. Kieran is a name of Irish origin hence the 'Pub' portion and Miranda is of Latin origin hence the 'Locale" portion. When titling your establishment I would suggest using a word from each origin. I think this would be a successful way to market the idea that you are trying to create an atmosphere that welcomes international comfort food/beverage. I hope i've helped motivate your thoughts. Good Luck!!!...Show more
